13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi - Tyrone 'Rone' Woods' Stunt Salient Arms International GRY Rifle

A prop rifle used in the production of Michael Bay’s explosive action biopic 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi. Tasked with protecting CIA personnel in Libya after the Arab Spring, a team of military contractors find themselves without support in a battle for survival against an army of militants.

Used by the team’s lead operator Tyrone “Rone” Woods (James Badge Dale), this rifle was used throughout the rescue mission at the Special Mission compound and in the defence of the CIA “Annex”, with this piece used specifically for stunt sequences. Made of soft foam rubber, the weapon is cast from a real Salient Arms International GRY rifle and features intricate detail on the buttstock, receiver, forward grip and muzzle. Finished to replicate the look of the real weapon, the piece is finished in black on the buttstock, grip and magazine with metallic grey paint across the receiver. Fitted with a reflex sight and laser unit for use in the film, these accessories were removed at the end of production.
