13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi - SA-7 Grail

A rocket launcher used in the production of Michael Bay’s explosive action biopic 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi. Tasked with protecting CIA personnel in Libya after the Arab Spring, a team of military contractors find themselves without support in a battle for survival against an army of militants.

This rocket launcher and others like it were used for the CIA sting operation, as they used local “arms dealers” to help ID terrorist cells within Benghazi. The launcher, based on the SA-7 Grail for use in the transit chests, is made of rubber and fibreglass in two pieces - the launcher tube and the grip - and is designed to appear as though it can be reassembled by its future user, though it cannot be made into a complete "weapon" in its current state. It is finished in olive green and black paint to replicate the service colours of the weapon.
