Translation of events:
In the course of a planned counter-terrorism operation in the Republic of Ingushetia, to identify members of illegal armed gangs, FSB & MVD received information about the possible whereabouts of a few thugs in the village of Dolakovo, Nazran district. The bandits refused an offer to surrender, began firing on the security forces and were neutralized. The two dead gangsters were identified as Ozdoev brothers - Adam, born in 1986 and Halas, born in 1982. At the site of clashes two pistols were found - one of them with a silencer, and two homemade grenades.
According to the operational headquarters in the Republic of Ingushetia, neutralized bandits were active members of the "Nazran" criminal group. This gang is responsible for a number of terrorism-related crimes - attempted murder and murder of law enforcement officers and military personnel, numerous cases of extortion of large sums of money from local businessmen. There is also evidence of the dead brothers direct involvement in the organization and implementation of suicide bombings on a traffic police post, in the administrative border between Ingushetia and North Ossetia, carried out on October 23, 2012. As a result of that attack three police officers were killed.
After the initial contact, Spetsnaz continued to explore the neighboring houses - indiscriminate gunfire rang out from one building. The militants were immediately surrounded. Villagers and bandits parents gathered at the scene, but an attempt to persuade the terrorists to surrender failed. After a brutal two-hour firefight special forces shot and killed two gangsters, identified as Ibrahim Mestoev and Jakub Mankiyev - active members of "Nazran" gang. There were no victims among the civilian population. Unfortunately, there was a loss of one member of the security forces, 32-year-old Dzhambulat Amirarslanov, survived by his wife and their 2 children.
